Privacy Policy

Last updated September 14, 2026

Songwell does not collect your personal data. There are no accounts to create, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The developer of Songwell never receives your information.

Apple Music

With your permission, Songwell uses Apple's MusicKit to play music and read your Apple Music library, playlists, favorites and recently played songs. When you favorite a song, mark it Less Like This, add it to your library or add it to a playlist, Songwell sends that request to Apple Music on your behalf. These requests go directly between your device and Apple and are covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

iCloud

To keep your devices in sync, Songwell stores the following in your own private iCloud database:

This data lives in your iCloud account. Only you can access it, and the developer cannot see it. Deleting a station or clearing play history in Songwell also removes it from iCloud.

On your device

Songwell keeps some information only on your device so it can start quickly and pick up where you left off, such as what's playing, your Up Next queue and cached artwork. Deleting the app removes it.

Third parties

Songwell does not use third-party services or share data with anyone. It connects only to Apple.

Children

Songwell does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
